ENABLING CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS TO SPEAK ABOUT FEELINGS THROUGH ART AND CLAY

 Description

This day will be an introduction and exploration in enabling children to communicate their feelings through the medium of art and clay. The day will include case examples of working therapeutically with art and clay, and experiential workshops. The day aims to support the participant to gain confidence in enabling a child to speak about their feelings through these powerful art forms.

Trainer: Dom Guard
Integrative Child Psychotherapist and Supervisor. Works with children, adolescents and parents in private practice. Worked therapeutically in many settings including Family Futures, within schools, with school-excluded children, as an expert witness and on the Teens and Toddlers project. Author of ten published storybooks for children.
